Does copper tarnish under the UV print?
The UV ink layer acts as a protective coating that significantly slows oxidation. Glastrix recommends indoor use for copper prints; if copper is exposed to humidity over time, some tonal shift at unprinted edges may occur.
What sizes are available for copper printing?
Up to 3.20 × 2 metres — the same maximum as all Glastrix substrates. Copper is most commonly used for smaller, high-value pieces such as art editions and framed interior panels, but large-format is possible.
How is UV print on copper different from printing on regular metal?
The amber warmth of copper's surface shifts the colour response of the print — reds, oranges, and golds are enriched in a way that neutral aluminium or steel cannot match.
